The table pictured is the tented area where you can partake of communion with "Jesus". Every time I'm in there I cry.
I know it's an actor, but the Holy Spirit is there, and the person portraying Jesus is a minister. There is no denying the atmosphere is special.
We went into the theater where there was praise and worship. The worship leader said a couple things that really stuck with me. His words made me rethink my significance and the wonder of it all.
He said,"You are not defined by what people say about you. You are defined by what God says about you."
So much truth in those words, but sometimes so hard to believe.
How many times I've let myself be defined by a name I was called or a comment that was made.
I would totally forget that God calls me His daughter, which makes me a Princess in His Kingdom.
It's so much easier to cower under the name calling than to stand straight and tall, knowing we are royalty.
Knowing God's Word is the only way we can avoid accepting other's words over us as truth.
If we don't know God's word, we'll never recognize the lie when it comes at us.
Knowing He formed us, He created us from a thought, that each one of us unique is not only empowering, but humbling.
God's allowing His Son to go to the cross on our behalf gives us an idea of the love He has for us.
We are significant in the Kingdom. Each of us has a purpose and a plan all ready for us to walk into if we choose. No one else can do the exact thing God put us here to do.
If we refuse the assignment, He can get someone else, but it won't be the same as His original perfect plan.
You are significant to God. Don't make God settle for second best, strive everyday to walk in the calling He has designed for you.
You are His favorite child, and what He says about you is your true identity!
If you are ever in doubt about who you are, read His word and get ready to be excited about you!
Blessings,
Princess, Daughter of the King of Kings
Mother of Princesses and Princes
Grandmother of Royalty
This is a powerful post and it really spoke to my heart as it reminded me of who I am in Christ. I often forget to see myself as He sees me and instead look in the mirror through the world's glasses. Have a blessed day!
